Elephant Foot Yam: Amorphophallus paeoniifolius (also known as Elephant Yam or Whitespot Giant Arum)
Amorphophallus paeoniifolius, also known as Elephant Yam, is a tropical tuberous plant native to Southeast Asia. It can be propagated from seed or by vegetative methods such as corms or offsets. To propagate from seed, sow the fresh seeds in a well-draining soil mix and cover them lightly with soil. Keep the soil moist and place the pot in a warm and bright spot, preferably with temperatures ranging between 25-30�C. Germination can take several weeks to months, and it is essential to maintain high humidity by covering the container with a plastic wrap until the seeds germinate.
