The flowers are creamy-white with purple veins, 4-petalled with gaps between the petals.

Pinnatisect leaf is deeply lobed, almost to the central midrib. Deeply lobed, with 4-10 lobes almost to central midrib, the terminal lobe being the largest.

Silique: an elongated, beaked fruit, 12-25 mm long.
