Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) Organic Essential Oil

Patchouli is so much more than a body scent worn by youth in the late 60's and 70's!  It is sensual and warming.  It's resinous scent is more reminiscent of those distilled from resins than leaves.  It is antifungal, antiseptic and bactericidal.  Patchouli is skin supportive and is used for dryness, scarring, eczema and wounds.  It's antibacterial properties are so strong that it is effective in natural deodorants.  When diffused, it can be very calming and is a good oil to use for sleep issues. Patchouli is also used as a bug repellant. Our organic Patchouli oil is distilled from the leaves of the plant in Madagascar.  And while we track the distillation and expected shelf life dates on all of our oils, Patchouli is the one essential oil that we carry that has an expected shelf life of up to 20 years!
