Natural History: The White Cheek Tang is found in boulder-strewn areas of reef surge zones. It is often observed in schools.
Husbandry: The White Cheek Tang is a docile fish and should be housed with other unaggressive species. This species is reported to be resistant to feeding on any food besides filamentous algae. An aquarium with live rock and a healthy growth of filamentous algae will help immensely in the acclimation of this tang.
