This mushrom coral was named in honour of Professor Philippe Bouchet, a french biologist and scientist whose primary scientific fields of study are malacology and taxonomy.
The coral can be distinguished from its congeners by dense and thin septa, fine serrated septal dentations, evenly distributed stomata.
Colour: light brown
