Husbandry know-how of owners

Diesen Seeigel habe ich mir mit dem Lebendgestein eingeschleppt. Nach paar Monaten Standzeit des Beckens haben wir ihn einmal gesehen. Dabei ragten nur Stacheln aus einer Höhle. Nach Abschalten des kompletten Lichts war er jeweils on Tour. Dabei kann man seine unzähligen Tastarme sehen die sich schnell bewegen. Irgendwann zeigte er sich dann auch tagsüber, war sogar auch ausserhalb vom Wasser, was ihm aber nichts ausgemacht hat. Er scheint Höhlen zu mögen, diese hinterlässt er blitzblanksauber. Ernährt sich, soweit ich beobachten konnte, von diversen Algen. Konnte aber keinen Grössenwachstum bis jetzt feststellen, auch ist mein Riffaufbau nicht geklebt und wurde (noch) nicht von ihm verschoben.

Kann sich durch unglaublich kleine Ritzen drängen. Man sollte also den Steinaufbau entsprechend gesichert haben. Ein aufeinander gestapelter Steinaufbau ist meines Erachtens nach nicht sicher genug und wird oft genug umgeräumt.
