Colonies are flat plates with corallites aligned between Leptoseris-like folds (collines) parallel to the colony margin. Septo-costae have a rough appearance.

Colour: Brown, green or yellow-brown, sometimes mottled.

Habitat: Rocky foreshores.

Abundance: Uncommon.
