Alpheus clamator Lockington, 1877

Alpheus clamator is a snapping shrimp from the eastern Pacific. This snapping shrimp is commonly found on kelp holdfasts and sponge masses and on rocky reefs of pools at low tide level. Feeds on small small gobiid fishes.

Type locality: Santa Barbara Island, California.
