Info

Randall & Lubbock, 1982

Like all Cirrhilabrus they shouldn't be kept alone, but as pair or in bigger tanks one male with more female ones.
Hardly to be found in Germany.
Very skittish in the beginning. According to literature mor e easy to acclimate as juvenile. Be careful! It's a good jumper!

Synonym:
Cirrhilabrus labouti Randall & Lubbock, 1982

Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!
