Centropyge nigriocella is referred to as the Black-Spot Angelfish and a rarity to any reef aquarium. He lives on coral and rubble reef areas at a depth of 5 - 15 m (15 to 50 feet). The Black-Spot Angelfish prefer a temperature of 25 – 28°C (77 - 82°F) and his natural diet consists mainly of algae. Centropyge nigriocellus is rarely seen in the trade.
