SCIENTIFIC NAME - Parupeneus multifasciatus

COMMON NAME - Manybar Goatfish (Multibarred Goatfish)

SIZE - 12" (30 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 75 US Gal. ( 284 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Frequent feeding, meaty foods, fresh and frozen seafood's, live Grass Shrimp, frozen prepared foods. Feed min. 4 times a day for juveniles.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat worms and Crustaceans, small fish.

CAPTIVE CARE - Provide plenty of swimming room, soft substrate for grubbing for food, mature sand bed a plus, house with non aggressive tank mates, most are infected with intestinal worms and need to be treated for such when 1st purchased. Juveniles have a high metabolism and must be given frequent feedings, if weight loss is observed they are being underfeed will eat other fish.
