image
SCIENTIFIC NAME - Paracirrhites arcatus
COMMON NAME - Arc-eye Hawkfish
SIZE - 5.5" (14 cm)
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. (114 L)
FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty marine fare for carnivores, crustacean flesh, Mysid shrimp, fresh / live and frozen preparations. Feed Daily.
REEF COMPATIBILITY - May feed on smaller delicate shrimp, small fish, otherwise, excellent.
CAPTIVE CARE - The Hawkfish acclimates well to captivity, harmless to sessile invertebrates. If introduced at the same time more than one can be housed in a medium to large tank if they are not the same size, and if adequate hiding places are provided.
