Description:

Feeds at night upon mollusks, shrimp, crabs, and small fishes. Contains a long tubular proboscis that is used for sucking out vital body fluids in the animals it feeds upon. Habitat:

Hard and sandy substrates, Indo-Pacific: Australia to Hawaii and the Red Sea.

Notes:

First time to spot something like this during a night dive. Quite long - more than a meter. It was venturing out in the sand from underneath a rock.
