Kallitaxila granulata
Kallitaxila granulata (Stål, 1870), of familyTropiduchidae, subfamily Tambiniinae, tribe Tambiniini, called the Grainy Planthopper. Considered a mild agricultural pest, it is a chubby planthopper, about 5mm in size. Body is bright green, with dorsal white stripes on head and thorax. Wings are clear with whitish granular spots. Backyard. Spotted these grainy planthoppers on the taro and sweet potato leaves, and the other one on a dead branch near these plants.
