Globe Willow originated in China, but naturalized in the American Southwest.'Navajo' is a female clone that was discovered on a Navajo Reservation near Aztec, New Mexico. It is cold tolerant and drought tolerant - often seen growing at high elevations throughout New Mexico and Arizona. It is a gorgeous medium sized tree with an almost perfectly rounded crown that is easy to grow just about anywhere.

Catkins appear in spring at the same time as the leaves. Lovely warm amber fall color.
