Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Large shrub up to 3 m tall.
Foliage Leaves are elliptic to egg-shaped (15 cm long).
Flowers Small, orange to yellow-orange flowers are tubular and star-shaped. They are arranged in small clusters known as corymbs and produce large, white, egg-shaped sepals that are up to 8 cm long.
Cultivation They grow best in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade.
Etymology The cultivar was named after Dona Aurora Aragon-Quezon, wife of former president of the Philippines Manuel Luis Quezon.
