Pilea glaucophylla, also known as Red Stem Tears, is a silver-leaved artillery plant from the family Urticaceae. It is characterised by tiny teeny grey-green leaves that cover the creeping reddish yet fleshy stems.

Pilea glaucophylla also sporadically blooms with small pale pink flower clusters just above the foliage. With its trailing habit, the plant is typically displayed on a wall or mounted on a surface. As a tropical plant native to Colombia in nature, it prefers a hot and humid environment. The plant thrives in both containers and terrariums even with minimal care, making it an ideal choice for beginners and botanical art lovers.
