PLANT DESCRIPTION

Solitary palm, dioecious palm, up to 12 m tall, mature trunk gray, smooth and slightly swollen at the base leaves fan-shaped (costapalmate) about 1-1.5 m long,  with red petiole the first years inflorescence coming from the leaves, small and yellow in color fruits oval shaped, brownish green and fleshy.
