Juveniles rarely seen with floating objects
or large jellies, subadults form large roving schools that may enter
shallow water for a short time, returning to very deep water as adults.
Broadly oval with large eyes, sharply angled mouth with a white
interior, and faint vertical bars. Attains 20
inches. Worldwide in warm seas. Uraspis reversa & Uraspis
secunda are synonyms. |
