Occurs along reef dropoffs at any depth.  Yellow-green with dark scale margins, dark bars on gill cover, and black-tipped caudal lobes.  Attains 5.25 inches.  Red Sea to Okinawa, east to French Polynesia, excluding Hawai'i.
