HIGHFIN CHUB
nenue Tenjikuisaki
A skittish species common in rocky areas exposed to
wave action. Vertical line drawn from edge of anal fin runs
forward through or matching trailing edge of dorsal fin. Head
profile with underslung mouth resembles a rabbit. Silver with gray scale margins, anterior
soft dorsal and anal fin rays very tall, may switch to charcoal gray
with blue flecks at will. Attains 15 inches.
