COMMON RAZOR
or MUSHROOM CORAL
Common in
depressions on shallow reefs. Generally oblong and thick with
sinuous ribs of varying length. Tentacles may be green when
extended. The parasitic snail Epifungium
ulu may be found on the underside. Attains 7
inches. Formerly known as Fungia scutaria. Red Sea
to Hawaii & the Society Islands.
