Photos of Chitons taken at same locale since January. All observations were taken within mid-lower shore area of the intertidal zone underneath rocks. Note two-tone banding of girdle in all observations and distinct keel; this species has variable colour forms. Photo 9 shows a juvenile in situ. Zoom into Photo 13. I am going to tentatively suggest that these might all be Lepidochitona cinerea? Would welcome advice.
