Stachytarpheta jamaicensis Blue Porterweed
This is the native variety of porterweed. Unlike common varieties, native porterweed does not grwo upright and tall. Has pretty blue-purple flowers that butterflies and bees love.  Flowers are edible and taste like mushrooms. Host plant for the tropical buckeye that can be found in South Florida.
