Xanthosoma sagittifolium ‘Frozen Planet'
    • Xanthosoma sagittifolium ‘Frozen Planet' is a cultivar of  Xanthosoma sagittifolium (L.) Schott. It has very long,  burgundy-red, stems and large, gently arching matte leaves with subtle markings which make them appear frozen.
     
    The name is derived form the Greek words ξανθός (xanthos), meaning "yellow", and σῶμα (soma), meaning "body". It refers to the stigma or yellow inner tissues.
