Description

He`e or tako, can be found in reefs to around 50 feet deep. Large animals can attain 15 lbs and can be dangerous. Their tentacles are powerful enough to choke a diver. Diving for octopi can be dangerous for other reasons as well because their scent attracts sharks. In Hawaii, tako are considered a delicacy and often eaten as poke.

This is a limited edition print created from the original gyotaku titled “Octopus cyanea”. Each print is matched to the original with meticulous accuracy and created using the finest museum quality archival paper and pigment-based inks, so you can enjoy your artwork for many years to come.

The edges of the paper are deckled, and can be framed either behind a mat or “floated” above a backing to show off the paper’s deckled edge.

Each print is signed, numbered, and stamped with my seal. It will be accompanied with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
