    Lovely, unusual annual plant

    Grows really well from seed, but don't be tempted to sow too early in the season. Graceful spike of small pink flowers and large, elegant leaves for an airy upper story in the border. Bees love it. Good cut flower.

    Germination Instructions

    Sow indoors at any time. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Place somewhere warm, ideal temp. 20-25°C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks. Can be sown under glass in late spring. When seedlings are large enough to handle prick out to individual pots. Grow on under glass. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.

    Prefers and well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers a neutral soil. Requires little attention.

    Will self-seed freely.
