Plant with a strong aroma and bright, green leaves and beautiful white flowers.
During flowering, keep the soil moist, watering in moderation. The stems are long and need support. The pruning and transplanting should be done in the summer. It is a perennial plant, easy to maintain.
 
A story
It was a famous botanist and paleontologist, Adolphe Brongniart very dedicated to dealing with ancient, extinct species that on one of his voyages of discovery in Madagascar, decorated the year 1837 found there, meandering in the jungle,  o Stephanotis. He introduced the plants indoors and it is known that already in 1839 its aroma was already classified, both in England and Holland.
We also know that in 1844 the first reproductions of the plant bloomed in the house of the Countess Lawrence in Ealing Park, England. This is certainly an impressive plant, cultivated in pots for almost 200 years!

Even in a vase,  Stephanotis can reach several meters in length.
Creepers need support of any kind, which must be substantial given their size.
The flowers are white at first but change to cream and white, they are shiny, waxy, in a long tube. The flowers are arranged in groups in the axils of the leaves. They are wonderfully beautiful, but that's the its perfume, which impresses most. The flowers are very durable, keeping for a long time.
Where does beauty prefer?
Place it in a window with good light but no direct sun. In the south you can protect it with a thin curtain which will be sufficient. It can also be placed in a room opposite a south window.
Stephanotis thrives in moist air and at normal room temperature. If possible in winter, give it a bright and cool situation, up to 12-15º.
Make sure that there are no fresh fruits in the immediate vicinity of the plant, which is sensitive to the ethylene gas that the fruit exudes.
