Description

Pacific Beetle Mimic

 “Milk Roach“, Diploptera punctata

Got milk roaches?  The Pacific Beetle Mimic, Diploptera Punctata, is a great little roach that has recently become famous because of their ability to produce some of the most nutritious milk known to mankind.

I have linked some news stories here and here for you.

Milk roaches are very easy to care for.  They like temps in the 70’s, they like to burrow in coconut coir bedding.  They eat carrots, hardwood leaves, fish flakes and fruit.

They like a damp substrate but on the drier side.

They bear live babies, just like mammals, and they produce milk for those babies like mammals do.

We are selling these as a breeding culture so that you have enough to establish a culture in a short period of time.  Each culture will contain 12 roaches of sub-breeder age so that you will get youngsters and will be able to enjoy their entire breeding period for your own production.
