It is widely grown as a unique ornamental plant and houseplant, valued for its richly coloured, evergreen leaves, and thick, irregular stems. Can handle light levels indirect light to shade.
Water every few days. Keep the soil minimally moist, but not soggy. Check the soil prior watering; If the soil is dry, water the plant if the soil is wet do not over water, as it can cause root rotting.
