ALLAMANDA SCHOTTII FRUIT (COLORCHALLENGE GREEN THURSDAY)
The yellow flower of the Allamanda shrub is undeniably beautiful, but what stood out to me even more was the spiky green fruit it produces.
This decorative shrub is native to Brazil, and reaches around 2.5 metres in height

Do the spiky fruit become hard like thorns or burrs?
I would say so, because they are hard anyway. They actually turn brown, I guess this is when they dry out.
Odd spiny fruit with such a spectacular brilliant flower!
Thankyou
The inside of the flower is playing eye tricks on me
