Haminoea cymbalum

Haminoea cymbalum

Usually called cymbal bubble snail, this species was found in intertidal rocky shore of Minatogawa Coast (Okinawa, Japan) during low tide at less than 30 cm depth. The individual on this picture is about 5 mm in shell length. They are feeding on algae. The living one is different with the dead one since only the transparent shell will remain on the dead creature. It seems that every individual has different body pattern.
