whipworm- trichuris trichiura
Whipworms are often found in contaminated meat and vegetables that have not been washed properly or treated with pesticides. They enter your body as eggs with this unprepared food and makes its way to your intestines. It then hatches and begins to cause damage to your body by feeding on important cellular contents and blood. They then lay eggs themselves in our gut, and the cycle repeats itself.
