Description:
Much of the body, particularly the sides and back, has wavy skin. Cetaceans have a distinct body shape, with the squared head area making up around one-third of the entire length of the body. The single blowhole on the left side of the forehead’s slope is present in sperm whales. Light brown to blue-gray, frequently with the belly and jawline having noticeably lighter colouring. Outside the white mouth, the lips are marbles. The eyes, which are situated somewhat above the meeting point of the upper and lower jaws, are situated far to the back of the short, stubby flippers. The tips of the small, wide, thin flukes are rounded, and there is a distinct middle notch. Along their trailing edges, the flukes frequently have deformed or serrated edges.
