Description

Rhizomes (stems): erect, 0.35-0.64 cm diam..

Fronds (leaves): erect, up to 1.5(-1.8) cm long.

Stipes (petioles): not winged, not grooved, green or light brown/tan/straw-colored, concolorous, glabrous.

Blades: simple, lanceolate/ovate, margins entire, dimorphic with fertile (sporophores) and sterile (trophophores), coriaceous , glabrous.

Veins: obscure, reticulate (anastomosed throughout), with included veinlets.

Sori: sporangia arranged on erect spikes (sporophores), sporophore 5-10 times longer than trophophore, up to 12 pairs of sporangia .
