Very easy to grow although not in direct sunlight.

It is a species of bromeliad that is native to northern South America and parts of the Caribbean.

The very popular and easy to grow Flaming Torch bromeliads are sure to brighten your landscape. It grows best in clusters in shade to filtered-sun locations. This bromeliad will produce a beautiful pink flower (torch) in the center. Best of all, even when the flower dies back, this bromeliad will continue to produce pups which will ensure that you have new blooms going forward. You can keep the new pup in the cluster or separate from the mother plant to transfer to a different location.

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
