Identification Marks: Palpi white below, upturned and reaching vertex of the head, 2nd joint broadly scaled in front, 3rd with short triangular tufts; maxillary palpi filiform, frons flat & oblique; antennae annulated. Ochreous; the head and collar fuscous; abdomen ringed with fuscous and white towards extremity; the anal tuft black, striped with white. Fore wing with the costal and outer areas broadly fuscous; a slightly curved antemedial line; a discocellular line and straight oblique postmedial line; male with erect triangular tufts of hair on upper side from subcostal and median nervules at middle of cell. Hind wing with discocellular speck; an oblique postmedial line bent inwards to anal angle; the outer area fuscous, tapering to anal angle; a black marginal line and line through the cilia.
