Description
Plants yellowish-green, small, loosely tufted, up to 3 mm long, stem erect, tomentose below; leaves ovate, acuminate, not much changed or contorted when dry, imbricate when moist, up to 2 x 0.05 mm, entire, not bordered, leaves crowded above; costa strong, excurrent; cells rhomboid-hexagonal at upper and middle, up to 45 x 10 µm, lower cells quadrate, near midrib 50 x 15 µm; seta long, 1.3 cm high; capsule erect, bryum type, apophysis narrow; spores rounded, small, 15-20 µm diagonally.
