    Description
    6-8 double series of dusky blotches above and below lateral line; distal 1/2 of dorsal lobe abruptly and heavily pigmented . Scutes absent, has several semi-detached finlets at the end of dorsal and anal fins, and is covered with tiny needle-like scales imbedded in a tough skin .
