    Description
    Greyish and speckled with irregular, dark markings . Young yellowish with hollow-centered spots which becomes less conspicuous with age . Lacks the molariform teeth as well as the depressible vomerine fangs present in most Gymnothorax and have two rows of vomerine teeth .
