Shrub to 4 m high. Leaf blade lanceolate, lanceolate-elliptic or elliptic, up to 14 cm long and 5 cm wide; secondary lateral veins 6-12 per side of midrib; upper surface glossy green, glabrous; lower surface pale green, glabrous; tip acute to long-pointed; base cuneate. Flowers 11-18 mm long, 18-30 mm wide; corolla cream. Fruit 20-38 mm long. [Ervatamia angustisepala (Benth.) Domin]
