Large Baby Tear and Piggy Back Plant

Posted by Unknown on May 4th 2021

Don't underestimate these trailing Baby Tears! You get 2 three inch pots for $7.99. I was looking for the small leaf ones that I grew as a kid in Copley, Ohio but decided to give this large leaf one a try grown in Medina, Ohio not far away. They shipped to near Pensacola, Florida in just 3-4 days. They arrived like I took them off my window sill today, completely unscathed and just as healthy and moist dirt too. In the same package came my Piggy Back Plant that I also hadn't seen from those days some 29 years ago. It looked a little pale (maybe light deprived) but certainly not from shipping, probably not enough bright light at the greenhouse and/or warmth. It arrived end week of April here in FL and still pretty cold there in Ohio. I must say that they arrived faster than my Crocodile Fern I ordered at the same time from near Miami, FL and about half if not less the distance. All in all I would order from Hirt's again.
