Ceresium unicolor

Ceresium unicolor is a longhorn beetle that, apparently doesn’t have a common name. An introduced species, it’s not consider to be a problem in Hawaii. I found this one walking along the railing of my lanai.

I think bugs are fascinating to photograph. They look much different close up, don’t you think? This guy looks like he might have a little bit of a furry shell 😊

  He did look rather furry. I’m notorious at work for grabbing my camera and rushing outside to get photos of bugs, but I find them fascinating!
