A landrace okra from Afghanistan. Pods vary in size and colors range from green to white, red and pink. Okra is a heat loving, sub-tropical plant that is grown in many regions of the world. The Kandahar variety is reported to be adapted to slightly higher elevations. We have been successfully growing in southern Colorado Between 4600-5300’ for many years.
