Halimeda discoidea is a species of chlorophytes in the family Halimedaceae. They are native to Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Ceará, Alagoas, ParaíBa, and Bahia. Dead Halimeda discoidea form shallow marine sediments.
