Heraldi's Angelfish - medium

Common Name - Heraldi's Angelfish Description - Heraldi's Angelfish is also known as the False Lemonpeel Angelfish and the Yellow Angelfish. Herldi's Angelfish shares s similar coloration to the Yellow Angelfish but there are a couple of differences. The Heraldi's Angelfish is yellow but it is not a bright yellow, also there is no neon blue coloration around the eyes or the dorsal fins. Recommended Tank Size -Heraldi's Angelfish range from about 2 - 4 inches, with that in mind it may be best to acquire at least a 50 gallon tank to properly house these fish. Heraldi's Angelfish are typically even-tempered and do well with other tank mates. The tank should be decorated with plenty of rocks to make for a numerous amount of hiding places and grazing spots. The temperature in the water should be maintained at approximately 72 - 78 degrees Fahrenheit with a pH level of about 8.1 - 8.4. Food & Diet - Haraldi's Angelfish generally eat algae so it may be best to include spirulina formula in its diet. You can also include live, frozen, and prepared formula foods. Their diet may also include mysis shrimp or other meaty items. Level of Care - Moderate Reef Compatibility - Take caution when considering placing Heraldi's Angelfish into a reef environment, these fish are known to nip at stony polyp corals, soft polyp corals, and clam mantles.
