White spots on back. Head with extended snout.

Habitat : In open water in front of reefs and in lagoons, 1-80 m. Alone, in gourds or large schools Feed on mollusks and crustaceans which it excavates from sand and soft ground. Usually shy.
Distribution : Circumtropical.
