Sixline Wrasse

Pseudocheilinus hexataenia

Six orange horizontal stripes. Tail root with small spot.

Size : 8 cm

Habitat : Lagoons, bays and protected outreefs, 2-35 m. Common in many regions, however often overlooked because usually hidden between coral and coral branches. Feeds on small invertebrates.

Distribution : Read Sea, East Africa and Oman to SW Japan, Micronesia and French Polynesia.
