Diploptera punctata(Pacific Beetle Mimic Roach) Nymph

A nymph of this fairly rare and very interesting roach. These are the only known viviparous roaches, which means they give true live birth. The adults of this species can also create a very strong defensive odor when frightened by releasing potent chemicals called benzoquinones.
