Native to Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Trinidad, Venezuela, and Guyana. Tillandsia stricta x aeranthos is a low maintenance plant, making it a great choice for anyone. Hearty thick leaves and gray/green color when grown in normal filtered light, but when grown in bright light, it can produce a purple blush on the leaves. In bloom a dark pink inflorescence stalk with dark purple flowers emerges. They like a normal watering as well as good air circulation.
